Thankful Thursday
Each Thursday, Kitties Blue and I like to share the things for which we are thankful and then join the Thankful Thursday blog hop hosted by Angel Brian. If you would like to do the same, post on your blog the things for which you are thankful. Then, click on the badge at left to join the hop.
This week, most thankfuls revolve around me and the progress I have made since my total knee replacement surgery on October 9.
I had my first post op appointment yesterday with one of my surgeon’s PAs. The dressing was removed from the incision, and it looks as if it is healing well.
I have been given the okay to use my cane instead of the walker. Also, I can begin driving when I feel comfortable with doing so. I’ll be heading to the nearby cemetery to practice and plan to stay clear of Tom’s and my headstone.
My home care physical therapist says I am making excellent progress; though, some of the exercises I do not find enjoyable. Next Tuesday, I will begin traveling to the P.T. facility for my therapy.
More than anything else, I am thankful that today my therapist will let me get on Peloton and see what I am capable of doing. It will be super S…L…O…W going for probably several weeks. Nonetheless, I am looking forward to getting back into some routine.
Kitties Blue and I are thankful to all of you who follow, read and comment on our posts.
Bonus Cat Photo
After featuring a groundhog on Sunday and a squirrel yesterday, I felt the necessity to include a photo of some of the Kitties Blue.
I have to wonder which of the other Kitties Blue caught Raleigh and Audrey’s attention, while they were lounging on the heated floor with Kizmet.
I truly appreciate that you have stuck with us during the past couple of weeks of my sporadic posting. It will probably remain so for a while longer.
