This seems to keep the cats away as others have found. But the canister is small at 4.5oz. Get the Radio Shack spray cleaner for under as a replacement. 10oz for about the same price. This is the same ingredient. The heads match and it works fine. Just remove the spray attachment from the canister. Other sprays may also work. enjoy!

My review is for the 4 refill cans I purchased, NOT the system itself. All 4 cans leaked when attached to the motion detector device which caused the cans to empty within an hour. I did not have this problem with the cans that were included in the kits previously purchased with another vendor. This item is non-returnable, but was given a complete refund by Amazon and will order refills from another vendor. The system itself works great for my cats, although each can doesn’t have the number of sprays advertised.

We have had an ugly cover on our leather couch for nearly two years because our furry friends liked to use it as a bathroom (their way of making editorial comments). Now we can actually use the couch and don’t have to cover it! The combination of the alarm and air squirting keeps them completely off. We hope to eventually set it for alarm only to avoid buying refills for the compressed air. Just be sure you buy the model with the alarm – they also have one with just compressed air that would tie you into endless refills.
