I purchased these soft chews for a multi-day cross-country move in a moving truck with my cat. She is normally not a huge treat lover, but every time I gave her one of these she ate it right up. They are a little large,so I would break it up into 3 or 4 pieces so that she could eat it more easily. I bought a few other calming aids at the same time, and found that both of the other ones I tried (a gel & some drops) were much harder to actually get her to take. She was noticeably calmer within about 30 minutes of taking this. We would give her one when we arrived at the hotel and before we left in the morning to get the trip started calmly. I would buy this again, and I plan to use the ones that I have left to ease other stressful times for her!

If the result is what I got this morning and in a test drive last night, it surely looks like these work for my cat Oliver who has been quite stressed lately, I bought them with a vet trip (this morning) in mind, gave him a couple last night and they seemed to mellow him a lot, gave him two about 40 minutes before the vet visit and he was Mr. Calm through strangers handling him and tests, came home and bought out someone selling them for an incredibly good price, hope he gets more in the future, I have now enough to last quite a while. My husband paid 9.00 at Petco yesterday, I paid 2.59 plus one shipping of 4.99 for my stock of them.

We are preparing for a long airplane ride with our cats. I tried putting a calming chew in each of their pet carriers for them to sample. One cat ended up getting both and he took a long snooze for most of the afternoon...he sleeps part of that time anyway, but did seem unusually sleepy that day. A few days later there was a very noisy chase going on after midnight, ending in a crash as one cat leaped off the piano bench and knocked it over as the other cat gave chase. I gave the leaper a calming chew and we did not hear from them again that night. We plan to have these on hand for the plane ride.
