finally something that does what it says, May 18, 2005

This review is from: Merial Frontline Plus Flea and Tick Control for Cats and Kittens, 6 Doses (Misc.)
been down the road with flea and tick collars. Most seem to work when they are new. After the first month it’s down hill all the way. Also, after having problems with another brand and was looking for something that was vet recommended. This comes with that recommendation. However the proof is in the pudding as they say — or in this case the pussy cat.

This stuff does what is say. It stops fleas. So do your pets the favor. They will thank you. It’s given once a month on their shoulder blades. Nothing I have ever used works this good.

Enough said.

Caution: Some cats get determined to twist themselves in a pretzel to lick this. I can caused them to foam at the mouth and make them hyper for about 24 hours after. Solution is easy. Take an old sock and trim the toes for an opening for kitty’s head and the cut two arm holes. Makes a kitty’ vest and will keep them from licking their shoudlers. Keep them in it for about 24-36 hours. No problems.

So far works…, October 12, 2010
Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
Product did not come in the usual box and separted portioned vials, it came in a small amber bottle with no markings and a syringe. Was totally not expecting that, there was no discription of that when I purchased it. However, in the package I received was the description of what it was and how much to use with the syringe. Was a little hesitant to use, because you never know, however so far it is working. The syringe/bottle method was pretty messy to use and I ended up spilling some of the contents.

BEWARE OF COUNTERFEIT PRODUCTS, May 18, 2014
Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
This review is from: Merial Frontline Plus Flea and Tick Control for Cats and Kittens, 6 Doses (Misc.)
The Frontline plus for cats product I purchased via Amazon Marketplace was determined by the manufacturer to be COUNTERFEIT. The manufacturer, Merial, has requested this product be returned to them for analysis. I suggest that all parties who purchased Frontline products from USA Pet Supplies or any other re-seller on Amazon Marketplace contact Merial at 800-660-1842 to determine the authenticity of the product they received.

I have been using Frontline products for over six years. I am happy to report that the genuine product has worked well for me. All previous purchases were sold by and shipped from Amazon, directly.

At the very minimum, please check your product to verify that the LOT code on the box matches the LOT code on the individual applicator. Also, there is no expiration date for Frontline products.

Don’t take a chance by using a potentially unknown or harmful counterfeit product on your pet. Take a few minutes of your time to verify the product you have is genuine by confirming with Merial.
