Thoroughly Poetic Thursday
After missing last week’s poetry challenge (hosted by the Two Spoiled Cats, Angel Sammy and Teddy), I am embarrassed to say that I am back with a less than great poem. I think the inspiration photo and the subject are absolutely adorable and wish I could have represented them better.
Let Me Entertain You
It’s fun to act goofy and entertain the kids,
as mostly I am lonely and bored.
Captivity is not a place for a big cat!
It could be worse…at least I am outside
and can watch birds and roll in the dirt.
I have a cave for when it rains,
but nothing beats living in the wild…
not even the regular meals.
I fear I’ll become fat and lazy;
even rolling on my back will become a chore.
I wish my keeper would just open the door.

Thankful Thursday
Each Thursday is also the day when Kitties Blue and I share the things for which are thankful.
Unfortunately Dad Tom and I are still sick, but I am thankful I felt well enough to go to physical therapy today after having to miss two appointments.
I was the only First Commenter on the Tuesday Teaser at Two Spoiled Cats. I received this cute badge.
Dad Tom and I are, of course, thankful that Raleigh finally decided to come back into the house after his escape and two-and-a-half day exploration of our property.
